Lilly Advances Unfair Competition Suit Against Mounjaro Copies

A federal judge is allowing Eli Lilly & Co. to partially proceed with its lawsuit against a Texas-based pharmacy making copycat versions of its blockbuster obesity and diabetes drugs.

The pharmaceutical company can advance its claims against Empower Clinic Services LLC alleging the compounder’s actions violate several state laws in Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.
