Leidos Beats Backup Tapes Breach Class Action

Allegations that someone attempted to open a bank account in the plaintiff’s name and attempted to log into his e-mail accounts don’t support injuries fairly traceable to a data breach caused by a stolen backup data tapes, the Eastern District of California held (Fernandez v. Leidos, Inc., 2015 BL 279888, E.D. Cal., 2:14-cv-02247-GEB-KJN, 8/27/15).
