Opponents of Medicaid expansion in Nebraska are mounting a legal challenge to a ballot measure that would bring Medicaid expansion to the state.
Supporters of the measure are dismissing the lawsuit as a desperate attempt to prevent the voters from being heard on the issue. The lawsuit, filed by a current state senator, Lydia Brasch, and a former state senator, Mark Christensen, both Republicans, claims that the measure is invalid on a variety of largely technical grounds.
