Kinder Morgan to Buy Monument Pipeline in Texas for $505 Million

Kinder Morgan said on Wednesday it agreed to buy Monument Pipeline for $505 million in cash, adding to its Texas natural gas pipeline network.

• Co. said in a statement that the deal includes about 225 miles of natural gas pipelines in Houston and surrounding areas
• Monument Pipeline provides transportation and storage services to gas utilities, liquefied natural gas shippers and industrial customers
  • Kinder Morgan said the purchase is “complementary” to its existing Texas intrastate pipeline network
• The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to closing conditions
