Kentucky is bringing back Kynect, the state-based exchange for Affordable Care Act plans that was touted as a national success because of its role in helping the state reduce its proportion of uninsured citizens by the most of any state for several years.
Gov. Andy Beshear (D) sent a letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Tuesday informing the agency that the state would make the shift and bring back the system that former Gov. Matt Bevin (R) discontinued.
