Attorneys for Kentucky’s Democratic governor and Republican attorney general clashed Thursday in a state Supreme Court battle that could erase more than 800 pages of executive orders issued to combat the spread of Covid-19.
Gov. Andy Beshear’s attorney highlighted Beshear’s actions to stem a climbing death toll, while Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s team stressed the $20 billion in damage they say has been caused by orders that have inhibited the state’s economy.
