A Kentucky law requiring abortion clinics to have emergency care agreements with hospitals and ambulance companies should stay blocked, two health-care providers in the state say.
There isn’t any reason to revive a law that provides few medical benefits compared to the burden placed on Kentucky women seeking abortions, EMW Women’s Surgical Center and Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky Inc. told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit March 29.
