A federal judge seemed skeptical of the scope of probes into two health professional groups during arguments Tuesday in separate cases challenging the Federal Trade Commission investigations.
The two groups—the Endocrine Society and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH)—filed lawsuits against the FTC earlier this year after the agency announced investigations into their activities and communication with other organizations about clinical guidance related to gender-affirming care.
