Judge Questions FTC’s Motives in Third Transgender Probe Case

A federal judge seemed skeptical during oral arguments of how the Federal Trade Commission’s probe into the American Academy of Pediatrics differed from similar investigations.

The AAP filed a lawsuit against the FTC in February after the agency issued a civil investigative demand seeking information about the medical group’s personnel, finances, deliberative process, and communications related to clinical guidance on and support of “Pediatric Gender Dysphoria Treatment.”
