Jill Biden Backs Proposed Medicare Pay for Cancer Services

First lady Jill Biden on Wednesday touted the administration’s proposed new Medicare coverage of patient support services designed to help beneficiaries navigate treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses.

If finalized, provisions of the proposed Medicare physician fee schedule rule (RIN 0938-AV07) would make a significant step toward accomplishing a key goal of the administration’s “Cancer Moonshot” initiative: to provide covered navigation services to everyone with cancer.
