Financial software multinational Intuit and human resources software company HireVue discriminated against a deaf, Native American woman by denying her a promotion after an automated video interview, the woman alleged in filings with state and federal agencies.

Intuit Inc.’s use of HireVue’s video interview tool in evaluating the woman disadvantaged her based on her race and disability, she said in claims filed Wednesday by the American Civil Liberties Union.
