Intermountain Healthcare of Utah Joins IT Partners to Launch Innovation Lab

DENVER—Intermountain Healthcare of Utah is joining with several information technology firms to create an innovation laboratory to put forward ideas designed to improve and optimize patient care, the company announced Aug. 20.

The partnership will engage in lab projects to design, create, and test new health care technologies to be used at Intermountain facilities and beyond, the company said.

In addition to the Salt Lake City health plan, founding members of the partnership include Xi3 and Intel. Collaborators include Dell, CenturyLink, NetApp, and Sotera Wireless.
