Industry Group Launches `Roadshow’ On FDA Regulation of Mobile Health Apps

An industry group is holding events around the country and in Europe in 2014 to discuss mobile health applications regulation by the Food and Drug Administration.

The Mobile Medical Apps (MMA) Roadshow: Managing mHealth App Development Under FDA Regulation held its first event Jan. 16 at the University of Illinois in Chicago, according to attorney Bradley Merrill Thompson, of Epstein Becker Green in Washington.

Additional events were set for Jan. 23 at Johns Hopkins University, Jan. 27 at the University of California San Diego, Jan. 28 at Stanford University and Jan. 31 at the University of Texas at Austin. Later ...
