Immigration Group Approved to Defend Biden’s DACA Health Rule

A federal judge allowed an immigration advocacy group to pick up the US government’s defense of a Biden administration regulation expanding Obamacare coverage to immigrants under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

Judge Daniel M. Traynor from the US District Court for the District of North Dakota granted on Thursday the immigration group CASA Inc.'s motion to intervene on behalf of the US Department of Health and Human Services in a case that will determine whether DACA recipients can retain access to subsidized coverage under the Affordable Care Act marketplace.
