Hyundai Aims to Produce 3M Tonnes of Hydrogen a Year by 2035

Hyundai Motor is developing manufacturing capabilities for “green hydrogen” which is expected to commercialize in the next few years.

  • Company is developing megawatt-scale polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) electrolyzer manufacturing capabilities, it says at CES trade show in Las Vegas
  • Aims to produce 3 million tonnes of hydrogen a year by 2035 to power businesses such as clean logistics, green steel production and power generation
