Humana Adds to Lawsuits Over Alleged Glumetza Price Fixing

Insurance company Humana Inc. joined the ranks of pharmaceutical purchasers suing Bausch Health Cos. Inc. over its alleged conspiracy to restrict competition for diabetes drug Glumetza, in a suit filed in California federal court.

The suit follows a proposed class action that seeks $10 billion, and a complaint filed by Walgreen Co., Kroger Co., and Albertsons Cos., all three in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
