The Health Resources and Services Administration is planning to provide support to its grant-funded health centers nationwide for the adoption of electronic health record systems, the agency said in a notice to be published in the Dec. 6 Federal Register.
HRSA, through a grant program, will support the adoption and use of electronic health records certified for use in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid’s “meaningful use” program, HRSA said. The agency will also help health centers qualify for incentive payments through the CMS program.
