House to Vote on GOP-Backed Health Care Bills as Deadline Looms

The House will vote next week on a “number” of health care bills that have “consensus” in the Republican party, Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) said Wednesday, throwing more cold water on moderates’ hopes of an extension of controversial Affordable Care Act tax credits.
