A bill that would make it easier to use tax-advantaged health reimbursement arrangements would add $348 million to the federal deficit over the next 10 years, the Congressional Budget Office said Tuesday.
The CHOICE Arrangement Act (H.R. 3799), to be voted on by the House this week, faces Democratic opposition and would likely have difficulty getting through the Democratic-controlled Senate. It was approved June 7 by a 25-18 party-line vote of the House Ways and Means Committee.
