A coalition of hospitals is asking the US Supreme Court to review a federal appeals court decision that would allow California to deny Medicaid subsidies to out-of-state facilities treating the state’s residents.
Eight hospitals across Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon filed a petition for a writ of certiorari with the Supreme Court, asking the Justices to review whether California’s Medicaid program violated federal equal-payment requirements.
