Hospital Pricing, Pharma House Bill Prepped for September Vote

The heads of a trio of House committees are poised to unveil a package of health legislation Friday that would crackdown on pharmacy benefit managers and certain hospital billing practices.

The package could move forward certain bipartisan health priorities—including reauthorizing community health center funding set to expire this month—as lawmakers stare down a potential government shutdown with funding set to lapse after Sept. 30.
