Hospital, US Drop Suit on Drug Discount Plan Purchase Policy (1)

The US Department of Health and Human Services and a Kentucky-based hospital agreed to drop a lawsuit over a government audit determining the health provider violated a policy that limits purchases under a federal a drug discount program.

The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice after the HHS and TJ Samson Community Hospital agreed on a settlement, according to a stipulation of dismissal filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
