The Fourth Circuit July 2 said it will allow the federal government to enforce a rule that prevents taxpayer-funded family planning providers from talking about abortion with their clients.
The ruling is the second victory for the Trump administration, which is fighting to uphold administrative rules designed to advance its anti-abortion views. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit June 20 lifted injunctions against the same rule that were issued in cases pending in Oregon, Washington, and California federal courts.
