HHS Website Went Down Following Communications Freeze (1)

The Health and Human Services website experienced glitches on Thursday morning following weeks of absent health communication from the federal government.

People trying to access the site www.hhs.gov received a “site can’t be reached” or a “server cannot be found” message. A website that tracks whether other pages are experiencing server or access issues, Down For Everyone Or Just Me, marked the government page as down as of 9:35 a.m. New York time.

The site was working again as of 10:30 a.m. HHS did not immediately respond to request for comment.
