The Biden administration late Friday launched its first official attempt to dismiss one of six lawsuits seeking to block the Medicare agency’s drug price negotiation program.
Department of Justice attorneys, on behalf the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, filed a motion in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio opposing a request from the US Chamber of Commerce for a federal judge to pause the program put in place by the Inflation Reduction Act while litigation proceeds.
