HHS Grants $8 Million to Boost Health Center Virus Training

Organizations and nonprofits that provide training and assistance to community health centers will get $8 million to expand that work during the Covid-19 pandemic, the HHS announced Thursday.

Of those funds, nearly $6 million will go to state or regional nonprofits that consult and share information with community health centers. About $2.5 million will go to organizations that focus on training and technical assistance for specific underserved populations.
