The Office of Minority Health has awarded more than $3 million in grants to eight organizations as part of a three-year initiative surrounding Black youth mental health policies, the Department of Health and Human Services said Tuesday.
Awardees will identify existing policies expected to promote mental health in Black youth using a policy assessment framework and test their impact across different settings, the department said.
The initiative’s project period begins Sept. 30, the HHS said.
