Doctors, hospitals, and other health-care providers will now have 90 days to report payments received from the government’s coronavirus relief fund after the HHS extended the deadline from 30 days, the agency announced Friday.
The congressionally approved provider relief fund (PRF), administered by the Health and Human Services Department, is designed to help health-care entities that have financially struggled during the pandemic. At least $117.7 billion has been paid out to providers.
The change will apply to any provider who received at least $10,000 in each payment period. The requirements don’t apply to the rural health clinic Covid-19 testing program, ...
