Health Groups Urge Trump, Congress to Ensure Steady Supply Chain

Health-care groups are urging the federal government to take quick action to ensure a steady supply of essential resources as the coronavirus continues to spread throughout the U.S.

Eighteen groups representing a wide range of the industry including hospitals, health-care professionals, health insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and clinical labs sent a letter to Vice President Mike Pence and congressional leaders calling for “immediate, collective action—by the private sector and all levels of government—to address the critical needs of capacity and supply.”
