Health Department Accepting Applications For Groups to Serve as Exchange Navigators

ALBANY, N.Y.—The New York State Department of Health released its request-for-application Feb. 13 for organizations interested in applying for grants to serve as In-Person Assistors/Navigators for the state’s health benefit exchange.

New York will provide $27 million per year in grants to organizations to provide “enrollment assistance in a manner that is linguistically and culturally appropriate and disability accessible to the populations being served,’’ according to a fact sheet on the program.

One-Stop Aid for Coverage Enrollment.
