The Trump administration has violated two court orders precluding it from freezing federal payments to health-care centers that provide or research gender-affirming care, four states told a federal court.
Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, and Colorado asked the US District Court for the Western District of Washington on Thursday to hold the US Department of Health and Human Services and other federal defendants in contempt of court for skirting injunctions that prohibit them from implementing executive orders restricting gender-affirming care for people under 19-years old.
