The Medicare agency will release Nov. 29 model plans for how states can use waivers to expand health-care options for people buying insurance individually, the head of the agency said.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has already put out guidance on the waivers issued under the Obama administration, but it has not offered models on how states can use them, an agency spokesman told Bloomberg Law. The models will show different ways the states can use the guidance to help lower premiums.
