A co-owner of a company that illegally imported and distributed millions of dollars of injectable prescription drugs to U.S. health-care providers over four years Dec. 2 pleaded guilty to five felony charges (United States v. Huda).
In proceedings in the U.S. District Court for Eastern District of Virginia, Sayed “Farhan” Huda, of Arlington, Va., also entered 12 guilty pleas on behalf of Gallant Pharma International Inc., acting U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente said.
