FTC Clears ProMedica Divestiture of St. Luke’s

The Federal Trade Commission has approved ProMedica Health System’s divestiture of its former rival, St. Luke’s Hospital, under the provisions of an agency order that was unsuccessfully challenged in court.

The divestiture will restore St. Luke’s to its status as an independent, standalone community hospital serving the Toledo, Ohio area.
