Florida Skin Doctor to Pay $4M Over Cancer Therapy Claims (1)

A Florida dermatology practice will pay $4 million to settle civil allegations that it falsely billed Medicare and Medicaid for skin cancer treatments, according to a settlement agreement the Justice Department announced Aug. 28.

Dermatology Healthcare LLC and its owners, Robert and Carol Norman, reached the agreement to resolve a whistleblower lawsuit brought on behalf of the federal government and the state of Florida.
