The Florida government’s latest fraud claims against the campaign behind an abortion rights ballot measure are setting the stage for litigation if voters approve the constitutional amendment next month, health law analysts say.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R) administration on Oct. 11 released a report saying investigations conducted by the Department of State’s Office of Election Crimes and Security found “widespread petition fraud” associated with the petition to get Amendment 4 on the ballot.
