The city of Boca Raton and Palm Beach County can enforce local laws barring licensed therapists in Florida from providing conversion therapy to minors while a lawsuit challenging those laws proceeds.
Therapists Robert Otto and Julie Hamilton aren’t likely to succeed on the merits of their claims that the city and county ordinances violate their free speech rights, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida said Feb. 13.
