Florida Clinic Owner Indicted in $42 Million Billing Scheme (1)

The owner of a Florida diagnostic imaging clinic was indicted on charges of submitting $42 million in fraudulent health-care claims to United Healthcare, the Department of Justice said.

Bradley J. Kantor, the owner and operator of Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Inc., a clinic in Davie, Fla., used the proceeds of the scheme to buy a $3 million home in Key Largo, Fla., two Winnebago motor coaches, and a 37-foot yacht, the DOJ alleged in an April 23 statement.
