Fight to Preserve Obamacare Transgender Rule Continues in Texas

It would be premature for a federal court to squash an Obamacare regulation prohibiting health-care providers and insurers from discriminating against people based on gender identity, a nonprofit group says.

The evidence the regulation will harm Christian provider groups and seven states hasn’t been developed enough to permit the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas to grant them summary judgment, nonprofit groups fighting to uphold the regulation said April 5.
