FDA Tobacco Chief Fired by RFK Jr. Lands at Advocacy Group

Brian King, former director of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products, joined a leading anti-tobacco advocacy group a month after being removed from his post under the health department’s reorganization.

King will serve as the executive vice president for US programs for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, leading the organization’s work at the federal, state, and local levels to protect kids from harmful and addictive tobacco products, according to the group’s statement Thursday.
