FDA Sends Warning Letters to Five E-Cigarette Manufacturers

The US Food and Drug Administration has issued warning letters to five firms who allegedly marketed 15 e-cigarette products without submitting a premarket application, according to a news release Wednesday.

Each e-cigarette product was also packaged to look like toys, food, or cartoon characters, which could promote use by youth, the FDA said.

Warning letters were sent to Wizman Limited, doing business as Wizvapor, Shenzhen Fumot Technology Co., Ltd., doing business as R and M Vapes, Shenzhen Quawins Technology Co., Ltd., Ruthless Vapor, and Moti Global.
