FDA Recalls Some Resmed Sleep Apnea Masks

The US FDA is recalling certain Resmed masks due to a safety issue with magnets, according to a statement.

  • The recalled masks have magnets that can cause potential injuries or death when the magnets interfere with certain implanted metallic medical devices or metallic objects in the body: statement
  • Recalled models include AirFit and AirTouch
  • Recall identified as Class I which is the most serious type
