FDA, Patent Office Extend Feedback Time on Boosting Drug Access

The public will have an additional two weeks to comment on efforts by the US Food and Drug Administration and US Patent and Trademark Office to make medicine more accessible.

Input will be due 14 days after the agencies publish a notice in Friday’s Federal Register.

Their collaboration seeks to implement President Joe Biden’s July 2021 executive order to promote competition and support increased access to medicines for American families. It was first introduced last November.
