FDA May Convene Covid-19 Vaccine Panel on October 22

The Food and Drug Administration is tentatively planning an advisory panel to meet Oct. 22 to discuss a Covid-19 vaccine, the agency’s deputy commissioner for medical and scientific affairs Anand Shah said. Shah did not specify which vaccines, or how many, may be scrutinized at the meeting.

  • The committee may also be bolstered by scientific experts on the novel coronavirus, Shah said on a call with reporters
