FDA Advisory Panel to Weigh Benefits, Risks of Dermal Fillers

The General and Plastic Surgery Devices Panel of the Food and Drug Administration’s Medical Devices Advisory Committee will meet Feb.20, according to a Federal Register notice.

The committee will discuss and make recommendations regarding the benefits and risks of dermal fillers with new indications for use, such as in the decolletage area.

Public comments are due by March 20. Comments received on or before Jan. 30 will be provided to the committee.
