EPA Seeks to Redo Data Collection Rule for 16 Priority Chemicals

The EPA plans to revise a data-collection rule for 16 chemicals to reduce their impacts on manufacturers.

The Environmental Protection Agency announced by email Monday it will revise the Biden-era rule that required manufacturers of benzene, bisphenol A, styrene, vinyl chloride, and 12 other chemicals the agency may examine or already is evaluating to decide whether they’re so risky they would have to be regulated.
