Athenahealth Buys Hospital-Focused EHR Firm RazorInsights. Analysts say athenahealth’s acquisition of an Atlanta-based electronic health records firm focused on hospitals rather than doctors’ offices will grow its usage in the inpatient care field. The Watertown, Mass.-based giant in electronic health records announced it’s acquiring RazorInsights, a company that develops cloud-based electronic health records and financial solutions for rural, critical access and community hospitals. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. (Boston Business Journal)
