EEOC Chair Focuses on ‘Customer Service’ in 2020 Priorities (1)

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chair Janet Dhillon said she will prioritize providing “excellent customer service” to workers filing claims of discrimination against their employers, as well as not using litigation as a substitute for rulemaking or legislation.

Dhillon’s 2020 priorities, released Monday, mark her first effort to publicly identify specific goals for the civil rights agency since she was confirmed to lead it in May 2019. Dhillon has made few public comments since that time.
