Drugmakers to Get Medicare Guidance on Price Negotiations (1)

The Medicare agency plans to issue guidance in the coming months on how it will work with manufacturers of the first 10 high-spending prescription drugs subject to government price negotiations.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on Wednesday released a timeline of key dates and other information as it prepares to publish on Sept. 1, 2023, the Medicare Part D drugs selected for negotiation starting in 2026.
