Dozens of Fentanyl Deaths Mean Murder Charges for Ohio Doctor

An Ohio doctor who allegedly killed dozens of terminally ill patients through excessively high doses of fentanyl and other drugs will face 25 counts of murder

William Husel was indicted in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas June 5. He turned himself in to authorities that morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police, and is expected to be arraigned within the day. He faces the possibility of several lifetimes in prison.

Through his McDonald Hopkins LLC attorney, Richard Blake, Husel denied he intended to kill any of these patients, who were receiving end-of-life care at Mount Carmel Health System. ...
